Hi Canaan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

I’m a Northern New Jersey boy who started acting in off-off Broadway productions in after taking acting electives in college. I performed in a number of productions in and around Broadway proper and Chelsea Village, including a musical written and directed by John Pallotta, two live stage plays by Rod Barnes for Nightforce International Productions and an improv production by Jagger Kaye.


My early acting experience in New York City led me to bring together my business degree and my passion for acting by writing a branding and marketing guide called So…You’re an Actor?! PROVE IT!, which was published in 2009 under my birth name Canaan W.E.J. Robinson.
